On this tab you can define the default directory and file name for saving movie files. Another option to choose is the codec (video compressor) which is used to create the movie. To use the audio function, a separate microphone is necessary.
To recall the default settings for this dialog tab, click "Reset settings". The other tabs of the "Preferences" dialog box are not affected.
Enter the path into the address field or browse by clicking the "Browse" button to change the preferred destination directory for saving videos.
Click the "Select" button to change the destination directory for saving movie files.
Input the pre-defined file name for the recorded videos. The file ending is fixed to AVI (container format).
Depending on selected codec and codec properties the resulting video file size and quality will vary.
As more different picture and audio content the application vSolution Link will have to process, as bigger the resulting file size.
Choose the desired codec (video compressor) which should be used to create the movie. The codec affects the file size and quality of the recorded video. note
Available codecs are depending on computer system configuration (different codecs can be found in the internet).
If available on your computer, the application vSolution Link selects one of the following codecs automatically after installation:
FFDSHOW
MPEG4
XVID
When checking the box, audio will be added to the recorded video file.
Select the desired Audio Source. Available sources are depending on computer system configuration.

If available, the application vSolution Link selects the Microsoft ADPCM codec automatically after installation.
